Sustainable Practices

As part of the PRACTICE exhibition programme, ‘Sustainable Practices’ is a panel discussion hosted by What They Could Do, They Did.

at Better Bankside

PRACTICE

PRACTICE brings together recent graduates from courses in a range of creative disciplines, and around Borough & Bankside, in order to generate a critical discourse on dynamic and sustainable artistic practice, as well as showcasing the breadth of creative talent the area is producing.

Alongside an installation of the artist’s work, a public critique will examine the different processes that artists, designers, photographers and writers are taught to review their work, as well as offering an opportunity for the artists to showcase themselves to local creative industries. A panel discussion led by Herne Hill-based artist collective What They Could Do, They Did will discuss various approaches to maintaining creative practices as postgraduates. A zine published in association with the exhibition will explore the topic of free schools and will be available throughout.
