Against an external backdrop of bangs, cracks and smoke, internally a more subdued, relaxed atmosphere will shelter the attending guests with complimentary Mulled wine, Fine Art, Interactive projections, documentary film, poetry, performance art and music from the finest emerging talent.
Referencing textures of recent events in Hackney and the creative history of The ‘Arthaus.’ This one of a kind event attempts to question the idea of an annual national celebration involving murder, torture and fire! Dragging into context the recent riots, the aesthetic pull of explosions and the importance of fire in creativity, contemporary society and protest.
With topical references, these emerging talented performers and Artists will all share their individual voice in a climate dominated by riots & political unrest.
Delivering a full program of Autumnal creative endeavour Bonfire Lounge ignites with, Fire Fine Artist, performer and documentary film maker Adam Frank Walker. With funk and soul supplied throughout the night by talented photography, self publishing DJ duo Preston Is My Paris

‘Matts’ palace’ provide their multifaceted acoustic ensemble to proceedings, sampling the likes of consumer culture with contemporary Jazz.
The stunningly beautiful and viscerally powerful performance Artist Ella Finer will perform a special piece in the buildings atrium.
Fragile & intense songstress ‘Giovanna Marshall’: delivers her beautiful tones followed closely by delightful, pop driven, talking heads like Safari Funksters ‘Real Fur. Throw in Agitated local rant rhymist ‘Oh Standfast’ all set against a backdrop of live interactive projections, video art and performance, and you have all the fun of the bonfire without the frozen toes, poorly ears and crying children...
This event is free and requires no booking, the space can only accommodate a limited number of people and and it is expected to be exceptionally busy as well as the event having a complimentary sponsored bar, so arrive early.
