Dot Dot Dash Dot
Artsadmin Youth Board presents an evening of films combining the old with the new.

2006 Fame Asylum, London (Channel Four)
Dot Dot Dash Dot sees three short ‘dots’ from emerging artists screened alongside a longer ‘dash’ from an established artist. This month artists will respond to the theme of private/public, films that start with biography and end far beyond.
The 'dash' is art-documentary Fame Asylum, which follows Richard DeDomenici’s brave and controversial quest to create the UK’s first asylum seeker boyband. The carefully selected 'dots' are On and After Suede... by Ikjung Cho; This is a Short Movie Because I Don’t Like to Wallow in Self Pity by Neil Ira Needleman; Hargiesa by Robert Watkins and InsideOut by Tonje Alice Madsen
The evening will be filled with popcorn, projections and limited edition artworks created by Artsadmin's youth board. The screenings will be followed by an open and informal discussion around private/public and it's wider contexts.
