Helen Johnson, Dead Metaphor
Artist Helen Johnson explains the title of her exhibition, ‘The dead metaphor is not something that has ceased to be, but something that has been rendered invisible through continuous use—taken as read, as with the outcomes of industrialisation.’
Helen is in London on a three-month Australia Council for the Arts residency managed by Acme Studios.
