Artinavan // Bureau Detours Collaboration

Artinavan// are in Århus/Denmark putting up a installation in collaboration with Bureau Detours in a warehouse they use as a culture and art center. The project is called The Ant Colony.

"Bureau Detours is a movement, who's creative base is untameable and unpredictable. We grasp many expressions and media, which is our strength and source of inspiration.

Bureau Detours is a community that works in the borderline between art and architecture. We test the boundaries and limit for the public space, with great social engagement. Bureau Detours creates oases in the cityscape, where new relations and interactions between people can emerge

The AIAV // Bureau Detours collaboration started when Bureau Detours came to London in November 2009 and made the Pop-Up Space with AIAV//. From this, it was decided to meet again in 2010 in Århus/Denmark and put up a even bigger installation in what is called the CCAM, (The Contemporary Contemporary Art Museum).

Artinavan// left for Denmark last week to collaborate with Bureau Detours and have been writing a daily diary on the groups project for the Art Licks’ blog.
