‘Ground’ and ‘General Electric’ are two short films by Lee Maelzer. Made in an unfamiliar medium, blurred, drifting and dream-like, these moving-image works give us yet another valuable entry point into Maelzer’s abiding interest in the neglected, peripheral and abandoned.
