Tongues & Mirrors in Mercury is a solo exhibition by Nina Royle, including paintings, text, five bronze mirrors and a butterbean curtain. The exhibition mediates on ideas related to health, transformation resulting from constant volatile contact, and the alchemical principle of mercury (emblematic of archetypal matter). Imagery and the choice of materials play between their symbolic value and their sensory relationship to the body.
