Artist Residencies

Across May and June, both Holly Graham and Emily Hesse were artists in residence at Art Licks’ new space on the North York Moors in Bransdale. Both artists were invited to approach this as a research residency: an opportunity to explore the history of the Moors and find points of interest for their practice.

Join us online on Tuesday 13 July at 10.30am for an informal discussion between Holly and Emily, with Art Licks' Director Holly Willats. Each artist will give a brief presentation on their research and their experience of spending time on the Moors, followed by questions from the audience.

The event will be 45 minutes. If you would like to attend, please email us for a zoom invite at: info[art] with ‘Coffee chats’ as the subject line.

This activity is part of a current period of Research & Development for Art Licks, funded by Arts Council England.
